Application of GIS and Remote Sensing Techniques on Groundwater

The study explains the ability of remote sensing and geographic information system GIS techniques, to define the highly concentrated ions in the groundwater of Dibdiba aquifer of the southern west part of Iraq/Basrah governorate. The study concludes, that the most important reasons for the higher concentration of ions of groundwater come from the scarce s' water and lithological and geomorphological features which present surround the area of study.
