Application of the warehouse management system software in the management of finished product inventories in the company

During the last few years the adaptation of technological equipment in the various business operations has been essential for the generation of value from the supply chain, through the processing chain, to distribution; Inventory management has shown significant changes with the application of software in their processes; one of these software tools is the Warehouse Management System -WMS-, this software allows the optimization of resources involved in the activities of storage and handling of goods. This work presents the results of the use of the WMS in the storage and inventory system of finished product in the manufacture of cables for the target company; it also shows the direction given to inventories, the information provided by the WMS, classification implemented in the storage of goods, benefits of use, among other aspects.
