The main objective of this book is to provide some advances in permutation testing within different fields of statistics. Mainly, the book is divided into four parts. First, conditional power function for sample size estimation is investigated. The notions of reproducibility probability and generalizability probability are defined and used as a tools for sample size adjustment. Second, permutation tests for two-sample location problem using ranked set sampling is investigated. Third, the use of permutation test for variance components in linear mixed models is studied. Finally, permutation test for random agreement in cluster analysis is investigated.

Dr. Monjed Samuh is an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Applied Mathematics & Physics at Palestine Polytechnic University, Palestine. He got his Ph.D. from the Department of Statistical Sciences at the University of Padua, Italy. His research interests include Permutation Testing, Sampling Theory, and Distribution Theory.
