Approach to The Pregnant Quadriplegic Patients

The authors were motivated to write a book on the management of an uncommon yet an important clinical scenario after receiving a quadriplegic pregnant woman in the clinical settings. This scenario was a new one, and even many senior consultants have encountered it for the very first time. The patient was carefully managed and fortunately she did well. This case highlighted the need of writing a review on such cases if encountered in clinical settings. The authors felt the need of compiling their own experience with the case and all the literature they found while managing it in the form of a book.

The author has completed her postgraduate training in neurosurgery from Punjab Institute of Neuroscieces, Lahore, Pakistan. She was later accepted for Masters' at the prestigious Harvard Unversity. She has completed her fellowship in Endoscopic Spinal Surgery.
