Architecture in motion

This book is based on my final year course work in Architecture and Urbanism, which sought to acquire the technical and theoretical background necessary to draw up a preliminary project for a residential Giratório building in the city of Xanxerê, SC. It also sought to analyse the city of Xanxerê and its region in order to justify the viability of such an undertaking, to study cases of similar buildings or projects, and from their successes or shortcomings that may have contributed to the success or failure of these projects, to develop theories and concepts that can guide the paths that the project should follow. Based on contemporary conceptual architecture, this project prioritises the idea and then looks for the constructive solutions available to realise the project.
