Are male and female murderers portrayed differently in newspapers?

This book contains research that aims to identify any similarities and differences in the reporting of male and female murderers in broadsheet and tabloid newspapers. Through the method of thematic analysis, this book examines how the female serial murderer Joanna Dennehy was represented in comparison to the male serial murderer Stephen Griffiths in a selection of articles from British newspapers. During this process, reoccurring themes were discovered which are discussed in the analysis.
