The role of human resource management is changing a lot in the current scenario. It is becoming lot more challenging for human resource practitioners to manage the human resource of the company as their expectations are changing with the changing technology and globalization. However, every organization has to be competitive for its survival and growth. This makes it mandatory that a human resource practitioner focuses on the individual work performance of their employees by creating a happy workplace. An attempt has been made to identify the relationship between happiness and contextual performance of Employees with Special Reference to TV Sundaram Iyengar & Sons Private Ltd., Madurai.
