Arenas for democratic deliberation

The Habermasian analytics originally developed in the current work has later been applied by scholars from many different countries in empirical studies of democtratic quality of political-administrative decision-making. The analytics has been applied in different decision-making contexts, for exampel environmental assessment and decision-making, physical planning, and ICT-enabled public services and digital democracy.

Hans Wiklund is assistant professor of political science and working for the Goverment Offices of Sweden, the Department of Health and Social Affairs. He has been principal secretary for various governmental commissions and head of a Governor's Office. His scientific work has been published and awarded internationally.
