Art Multiculturalism Culture of tolerance

This book gathers articles from two conferences held in 2015 and 2017 at the Institute of Fine Arts of Foumban (University of Dschang) on the issue of tolerance, transcendence of differences and consolidation of national consciousness through the arts and cultural practices. The different contributions show how artists, experiences and artistic works contribute to the establishment of a culture of peace through a militant social commitment. From performing arts to visual arts, from cultural practices to cultural practices, the essential values of multiculturalism, the right to be different and participatory collaboration are highlighted in Cameroonian and foreign artistic works through a multidisciplinary approach. Unpublished works, expressions or vision of artists on the theme of tolerance and identity transcendence close the book.

Jean Robert Tchamba ha conseguito un dottorato in arti dello spettacolo e cinematografia, Università di Yaoundé I, CMR. Le sue aree di ricerca includono l'estetica teatrale contemporanea e la monoperformance. Capo del Dipartimento di Arti Sceniche all'ibaf, è un drammaturgo, regista, autore di diversi articoli e di opere teatrali pubblicate.
