Details

Knowledge of Artemisinin chemistry continues to move ahead on many fronts. This book is designed to provide a comprehensive coverage in the area of Artemisinin chemistry for the research and medical students. This book dealing with complex natural products such as Artemisin has presented many difficulties. I have tried to give a general indication of the problems involved and in doing so I have chosen, to a large extent, the most typical compounds for fairly detailed discussion. The practice of medicine now-a-days increasingly demands knowledge of the behaviour of molecules. I have attempted to give equal weight to the three fundamental aspects of the study of Artemisinin chemistry. The key features of this book are: Focuses on core knowledge and provides key concepts, facts and materials regarding Artemisin chemistry and their mechanisms. Enables the reader to grasp and understand the Artemisinin chemistry very quickly and easily. Several important concepts and cross-referencing in this book are put in the last part. This provides a unifying treatment. The material is selected and presented keeping in mind the needs of today's medicinal chemistry research students.
