ASSESSING FACTORS THAT AFFECT ACHIEVEMENT ON TVET NATIONAL ASSESSMENT

The research strived to closely assessing factors affecting achievement on TVET national assessment of two public colleges in Hawassa city administration. Hence, investigating the major factors affect the achievement on TVET national assessment of the Hawassa polytechnic and Tegibared TVET colleges in the Hawassa city administration was set the purpose of the study. Accordingly, the following four leading (basic) questions were identified stated below:1. How do the internal and external factors influence the result of trainees of the two public TVET colleges?2. To what extent does this factor influence results of trainees of the two public TVET colleges?3. What are some of the major factors affecting achievement on TVET national assessment of level 3 and 4 trainees of the two public colleges in Hawassa city administration?4. What strategies have the government and colleges designed to address factors affecting achievement on TVET national assessment of level 3and 4 trainees of the two public colleges in Hawassa city administration? The study, which was limited to two out of the three public TVET colleges, comprises general and specific objectives.
