Assessing predictive capability of suspended load formulae

In this book predictive capability of suspended sediment transport formula have been assessed using flume and river data. In the first part of the book Bagnold,Van Rijn, Wiuff, Click and Rodi, Swamee and Ojha and Habib and Sivakumar's suspended load formulae haven assessed using flume and river data.The same formulae have been used to compute suspended load of Indian river.The comparison of computed and measured load have been carried out using discrepancy ratio,inequality coefficient and score.The Habib and Sivakumar's suspended load formula has been modified to compute suspended load of Indian river. The modified equation gives better results to other suspended load formulae used in the present study for river and flume data.
