Assessing The Efficiency Of Quoted Manufacturing Companies In Nigeria

The work was written primarily to ascertain whether quoted manufacturing companies in Nigeria are operating on production possibility frontiers; utilizing their available resources efficiently and effectively, and if there is an increase in total factor productivity of the sampled companies. The study employed Data envelopment analysis technique for the investigation. The results shows that quoted manufacturing companies in Nigeria are relatively efficient. It is recommended that government should provides a conducive environment for the companies to operate. The findings of the study is of immense benefit to the investors, government, regulatory agency, researchers, and management. It is an exciting book, enjoy reading.
