Assessing the Employability Skills of Food Technology Graduates

The study assessed employability skills of Food Technology graduates from both graduate and employer perspectives, identifying key gaps between expectations and competencies. Employers valued communication, teamwork, adaptability, and subject knowledge, but cited challenges like low starting salary competitiveness and high turnover. Significant perception mismatches existed in personal qualities and generic skills, highlighting the need for curriculum alignment with industry demands.
