Assessment of predictors of low birth spacing

Studies conducted in past specifically focussed on reducing the fertility rates in a population or trying to identify the determinants associated therein.The significance of the present study lies in the fact that usually all countries have policies with respect to the size of family but only a few have formulated norms and policies on birth spacing. India, being developing in nature has the problem of birth spacing and services related to it not being addressed properly. The present book focusses on the assessment of various social, economic and demographic determinants of birth spacing in India.
