Violence in the health care workplace affects physical and mental health and the quality of health care services provided to the population.There are tools based on the qualitative approach and others based on the quantitative approach. They cover the assessment of the extent, prevalence, profile, causes, risk factors, determinants, consequences, responses to violence, and reporting methods of workplace violence in the health sector. The book is very useful for health professionals who want to implement tools to monitor workplace violence in order to improve the general climate of the workplace and the satisfaction of health sector actors and users.
