Atlas of ornamental plants from Tlemcen (Algeria)

This document is a digital herbarium created by Pr Noury BENABADJI, supervised by Professor Merzouk ABDESSAMAD and Dr Sid Ahmed AOUADJ, and presents an inventory of various ornamental plants observed at the EL HARTOUN garden in Tlemcen. It describes various species, including their scientific names, common names, families and uses, highlighting their aesthetic appeal and their role in beautifying spaces. The work also thanks the professor for the opportunity to explore the field of ornamental crops.

Mr Noury BENABADJI holds a doctorate in science, plant ecology, obtained at the University of Aix-Marseille III (Faculty of Saint Jérome) in 1911 in France. He has been promoted to the rank of professor at the University of Tlemcen (Algeria).
