Atmospheric and biological models for aquaponic production systems
Details
Aquaponics is an integrated and intensive fish-crop farming system under constant recirculation of water through interconnected devices. An atmospheric model, light intensity and wavelength is considered a main factor that influence the growth performances and nitrate and nitrogen concentrations in the plant, while for a chemical model, the same parameters must by influence by considering the water nutrients concentration as a main dependent factor. Project H2020-MSCA-RISE-2014 No. 645691: Researches on the potential conversion of conventional fish farms into organic by establishing a model and good practice guide.
