The study sheds light on attitude of these students towards teachers and the various factors that influence their academic performance. The researcher has used a straight forward approach in demonstrating that academic performance is a function of attitude. Findings established are helpful to policy makers,school administrators, teachers, counselors and parents in paving way for identification, intervention, management and educational programming of academically talented students. This book guides and provides insight to those interested in carrying out educational research.

Prisca J. Tarus has a Master of Philosophy degree in Educational Psychology from Moi University, Kenya. She has a B.Ed(Arts) from Nairobi University, Kenya and is a member of the Kenya Psychological, Guidance and Counselors Association(KPGCA). She is currently the Head of Psychology Department at Mount Kenya University,Eldoret,Kenya.
