These modern days very often we come across the word of ATTRITION.the word is being used in place of labor turn over in an organisation.viz the process of reduction in the no of employees who are employed by an organization.on its growth over the last few years the Indian IT/ITES companies sector has emerged among the leading employee provider of the country with nearly 4 million people being directly employed in the IT/ITES industry growth has given rise to predictable challenges of Managing people by Indian HR because employees are critical asset for the organisation. percentage of employees that leaves a company in a given period of time due o attrition.some time referred to as the Attrition rate , A high attrition rate can adversely affect a company due to cost of training to new workers so we recruit talented employees and trained workers during recruitment and other HR strategies use in order to control Attrition.
