Repeat breeding is an important cause of infertility in dairy industry. The present investigation was undertaken to evaluate the efficacy of initiation of Ovsynch and Ovsynch based GnRH treatments on day six of estrous cycle in terms of estrus pattern, ovarian activity and conception rate in repeat breeding crossbred cows. This study also ascertained the serum progesterone profile during and post treatments.

O autor licenciou-se em BVSc & AH na AAU em 2013 e concluiu o seu MVSc na disciplina de Reprodução Animal, Ginecologia e Obstetrícia na Central Agricultural University em 2015. Foi o melhor aluno da faculdade durante o seu mestrado. Entrou como JRF na CVSc, Khanapara, Assam, em 2015, e como oficial veterinário na ARDD, Tripura, em 2016.
