Autism Spectrum Disorders

Autism is a relatively new term in comparison with the antiquity of the human race, even if we compare it with the time that has passed during the evolution of behavioral sciences. However, it is gaining increasing relevance today. The population living with this condition is increasing on a global scale. "Autistic Spectrum Disorders: Approaches to Different Behavioral Forms" is a project conceived for family members of the autistic community, as well as other people who live and interact systematically with this group, such as therapists and behavior analysts, occupational and speech therapists, teachers, researchers, social workers and activists, owners or directors of agencies that provide therapeutic services, among others. The book is written in a way that contains information with terms from the specialists and at the same time tries to present it in a way that is easy to understand. The ideas are alternated with words that can reach people who are not in the behavioral science fields themselves.
