Autologous bone marrow cell therapy in modified radical mastectomy

Breast cancer is a world wide problem and modified radical mastectomy is a standardard treatment. Complications and local recurrence can be prevented by autologous bone marrow derrived cell therapy. This book contains a comprehensive guide to such novel therapy with a future vision to apply this approach in breast conservative surgery for early breast cancer. Il professor Sribatsa Kumar Mahapatra lavora attualmente come professore di chirurgia generale presso il VSSIMSAR, Sambalpur, Odisha, India, in un ospedale universitario con 1000 posti letto. Ha conseguito la FRCS (EDIN.) nel 1994, il M.S. (PGI Chandigarh) nel 1982 e il M.B.B.S (HONS) nel 1977. È famoso per le sue ricerche traslazionali sulle cellule staminali, che ha presentato in varie conferenze internazionali.
