A number of devices in the preceding pages and have seen how they are evolved from age-old, timeless devices of the past like simple radiography, K files to recent state of art devices like digital radiography, orascopy, apex locators, rotary shaping instruments, thermoplasticised obturation by Obtura and lasers. Thus as an endodontist of this new era, it is mandatory to have knowledge of such advances in order to incorporate them successfully in our daily practice.
