Automatic determination of parting line for die-casting parts

This book presents a system for automatic determination of parting line for die-casting parts. The system first identifies the parting line regions then it determines the various feasible parting line options passing through these regions. The proposed system is coded using MATLAB. The results from the proposed system are in line with the best industry practices. The book will be beneficial for the researchers in the field of Design-Manufacturing integration of Die-Casting Process.
