Automatic mapping of ontology into relational database

The semantic Web is gaining significance day by day. There must be an efficient and automatic approach to transform all ontology constructs in to relational database so that it can be queried easily. Research work has been done on transformation of RDF/OWL concepts into relational database. But there exist problems in direct transformation and mapping of ontology information to relational database. Some approaches claim that their method of transformation is fully automatic but the transformation process is incomplete and they miss important OWL constructs. The purpose of this paper is to propose a fully automatic and lossless approach for transformation of ontology into relational database format. Number of experiments has been done for ontology to relational database transformation. Experiments show that proposed approach is fully automatic, effective and quick. Our approach is lossless as well as it do not loose data, data types and structure.
