Automatic Recognition of Sickle Cell Anemia Present in Red Blood Cell

This important volume describes the Sickle cell disease, also known as sickle cell anemia, is a significant disease in which the body makes an altered form of hemoglobin. This book describes the image processing process to efficiently detect the sickle-shaped cells in the blood cell image without the involvement of haematologist. All the information giving this book have practically implemented on various blood seamer images. This book is also helpful for the research scholars and students for the further improvement in the blood cell detection such as overlapped sickle cells, other types of anemia, and the malaria parasite.
