Automatic Sorting and Retrieval System based on ADSP-BF533

The industrial situations requiring articulation, manipulation and orientation of various diversified components based on shape, size and geometry require an automated intelligent machine vision and retrieval system. In this book, a scheme for incorporating intelligence in the form of machine vision system is reported, which will facilitate the orientation, positioning and disposal of objects as required for any specific purposes. The system module of this intelligent machine vision system employs digital signal, image acquisition system, and workplace with hardware components. The system configuration is developed using IDDE Visual DSP 4.5 by designing the dedicated software. The system has been tested using various patterns and optimal results are obtained.
