Automation and Control of Exponential and Complex Lag Systems

The author of the present textbook hopes that the book will fulfill the requirements of bachelor programs, higher diploma and general diploma for students of mechanical engineering, production and manufacturing engineering, electrical and electronic engineering and civil engineering. This textbook is of great importance in covering the courses of engineering measurement and automatic control systems (i.e. mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, electronic, and electrical systems).This textbook agrees linguistically with the Unified Sudanese Engineering Dictionary. It is considered as a reference in its field as it can benefit the student, engineer and researcher. Most of the material in this textbook is derived from lectures and notes composed in the author teaching of this course for a period of just over thirty years.This textbook aims to emphasize the importance of identifying engineering control or control systems and linking them to mechanical systems in order to try to identify the new application known as mechatronic i.e., which links mechanical elements with electrical and electronic control systems.

Dr. Osama Mohammed Elmardi Suleiman Khayal was born in Atbara, Sudan in 1966. He received a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Sudan University of science and technology in 1998, and a master degree in solid mechanics from Nile valley university (Atbara, Sudan) in 2003. He also received his PhD degree in mechanics of materials in 2017.
