A major revolution in wireless industry is now due, with the development of Ultra-Wideband, Cognitive Communication, and Networking. The goal of this book is to do spectrum occupancy and wideband channel sounding using automated system. In this book, the automated systems developed using LabVIEW as a tool to control Spectrum analyzer, Vector Network Analyzer (VNA), and Digital Sampling Oscilloscope (DSO) are discussed. Spectrum occupancy for CDMA, GSM, Wi-Fi, and DTV spectrum s is investigated, followed by field strength measurements for DTV signal. Frequency domain and Time domain channel sounding are also performed and all results are shown.
Autorentext
Author was born in Punjab(State) in India, on March 12,1979. He obtained his M.S. in Electrical Engg. from Tennessee Technological University (TTU) Cookeville-TN, USA in July,2010. He was appointed as Research Associate at Center of Manufacturing and Research, TTU, and worked on the externally funded project of Office of Naval Research(ONR), USA.
