Ciara is an American Grammy Award-winning singer. Her first album, Goodies, was released on September 28, 2004, and three of its singles "1, 2 Step", "Goodies", and "Oh" reached the Billboard Hot 100. The album has sold over two million copies in the United States, and three million copies worldwide. Ciara's second album, Ciara: The Evolution, was released on December 5, 2006. The album's single, "Get Up", reached the Billboard Hot 100, while three other singles from the album "Promise", "Like a Boy", and "Can't Leave 'em Alone" broke the top ten on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America five weeks after its release, and sold over 300,000 copies in its first week. Ciara's third studio album, Fantasy Ride, was released on May 5, 2009, and it consists of the Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit also worldwide hit "Love Sex Magic", and R&B/Hip-Hop top ten hit "Never Ever". The album debuted at numeber 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, with over 81,000 copies sold in its first week. The albums US sales currently stand at over 350,000 copies, and its worldwide sales curretly stand at over 400,000 copies.
