Awareness About Menstrual Cycle Among Teenage Girls

The lack of dissemination of information through proper channels of communication results in a lack of interactivity, and thus, the girls stay ignorant of their own body functions. The absence of interpersonal communication between the adolescents and their mothers and teachers often leads to misleading and misguiding information. Effectively communicating and educating the girls on health and safe menstrual practices can spread awareness among them regarding their false beliefs about menstruation. Gaining knowledge regarding this particular issue can thus result in building a positive attitude and the adoption of safe menstrual activities.
