Awareness and perception of animal physiotherapy in India

Animal physiotherapy is growing exponentially in foreign nations in order to restore functional ability of animals. Whereas, this field is still in infancy in India.Keeping in mind the scenario of Indian animal health care system, a study was aimed at knowing the 'Perception of Indian physiotherapists to the application of physiotherapeutic interventions on animals'. The central vision of this book is a small initiative for making health care professionals and society aware of animal rehabilitation. It is necessary to create policies for animal rehabilitation and policy implementation.We must help animals improve their quality of life and promote animal rehabilitation so that they continue to play their roles in ecosystem.
