Ayurveda and Female Health

Women are blessed with the divine duty of maternity. The purity and normalcy in structure and function of four factors is very essential for conceiving a healthy child. The treatment measures to ensure the purity of these factors is explained in Ayurvedic literature in detail. The diet and life style of mother influences the metabolic imprinting of the fetus inside the uterus. Hence it is highly essential to study the reproductive disorders. In Ayurvedic samhitas there are ample description and knowledge regarding deformities was described in "yonivyapad". In the modern text also lot of work has been done to know it more. In females numbers of disease caused by anatomical deformities because the musculature and ligaments of the female genital organs are not so strong and these are exposed to stress during pregnancy &labor. The whole book will be done in two phases. In first phase Literary review of the Indian classical text and Samhita Granthas- to clear the concepts by interlinking all the topics with each other and similar topics available in other available bio-sciences will be reviewed to understand the Ayurvedic concepts in its entirety.
