Banana Bunchy Top Virus: PCR primers designing and detection

Plant tissue culture technique is widely used now to produce disease free quality planting material for banana. A lot of commercial tissue culture units are producing millions of banana saplings for cultivation. However, Banana Bunchy Top Virus is sometimes symptom-less and cultivation via infected seedlings results in complete damage to the crop. Therefore, present work is another effort to detect the symptom-less virus too, using molecular techniques.
