Bank Rakyat Indonesia Transformation

This book is about my memoar of leading the transformation in Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Bank BRI) from a purely rural bank into a more commercial approach micro banking business. This book also reflects how my inspiration and thoughts growing from my family background to the working experience in the company I work for more than 20 years (Bank Indonesia) before joining the Board of Management and became the President Director of Bank BRI in 1985. Hopefully this book will give insights on how transformation was built in Bank BRI which is now the largest and most profitable Bank in Indonesia.

Kamardy Arief is the President Director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Bank BRI) in 1986-1991. Before that, he works for Bank Indonesia, the Central Bank of Indonesia, for more than 20 years. He is very passionate about micro and small business banking and that becomes his inspiration for Bank BRI Transformation.
