What would you do if you found yourself teaching at a school that is usually surrounded by high floods from February to August each year and your school is about 40km away from the drier land? Worse still, your school is far away from services such as electricity, public roads,regional centres where all academic support is available and the related. How would you prepare and post your assignments?

Dr Nchindo Richardson Mbukusa initially trained as an English Second Language teacher for secondary schools and teacher education. His love for student support inspired him to investigate barriers that face distance education students where he focused on students in flooded and remote rural hinterlands of Namibia.
