Base Isolator

In many parts of the world, the most devastating natural hazards for buildings are the vibrations caused by earthquake excitations to the structures. Therefore one of the main tasks of building engineers is to make structures which have good performance against earthquake vibrations. This book examines the performance of seismic isolation systems.The isolated system equations are indicated, and the ways to design this system, based on regulations, are introduced.
