Tertiary and quaternary education deals with contemporary European society, reflects EU concepts and learning contents of a political and social history as well as the political system of the European Union. In its diversity with national traditions and living and learning conditions, Europe as a hope and an image of the enemy stimulates debate. Local cultures, international comparisons, demographic developments, political and social history as well as political systems require discussion. An interdisciplinary approach to the topic and exchange programs for an awareness of the complex of topics are helpful.
