Basic Problems of Epistemology

Epistemology is that branch of philosophy which concerns with the study of the knowledge. Though ancient philosophers had contributed to decipher the secret of knowledge and put forth remarkable theories, the study of this branch of philosophy as an independent field of study in philosophy found its importance with Modern Philosophy. In the present book, Mahmoud Khatami considers fundamental aspects of Epistemology and contributes to solve the basic problems of this field on the basis of his own philosophy in three parts: The First Part deals with the Nature of Knowledge; the Second Part tries to formulate the basic problems of knowledge concerning the Truth and the Objectivity of Knowledge; The Third Part discusses the forms and kinds of the Certain Knowledge. This book is useful to professionals and students of philosophy.
