Given the current situation, there is a slight increase in the presence of women mothers in prison, so it is of interest to study the influence that mothers in prison have on their relationship with their children.This study was carried out in Granada and 6 women mothers were interviewed, who were given a semi-structured interview to analyze issues related to motherhood in prison, and the effect that this maternal and filial reality produces in women, where the main objective of the research is to analyze the real situation of women who are mothers in relation to the bonds that are created with their children when they are away from them.These women interviewed are currently residents of the Matilde Cantos Fernández social insertion center, although some of them come from other penitentiary centers.
