Beneficial Effect of PTX & LA on Statins Induced Abnormalities in Rats

Now a days in world wide,Cardio vascular disease is the main cause of death and bad cholesterol are mainly responsible for Cardio vascular disease. Antilipidemic drugs like Statins and Fibrates are used to reduce cholesterol level in the body. On chronic use, Statins and Fibrates may cause many abnormalities like Rhabdomyolysis, Nephrotoxicity etc. These complications induced by increasing the level of free radicals. So Antioxidants may be used in combination with Statins and Fibrates to reduce the complications.
