Benzene and Aromaticity

The understanding of benzene and hence of all aromatic compounds, proved to be so important for both applied chemistry and Pharmacy. Many important chemical compounds are derived from benzene by replacing one or more of its hydrogen atoms with another functional group. In heterocycles, carbon atoms in the benzene ring are replaced with other elements. In this book the chemical nature of benzene and aromatic reaction describes smoothly.

Muhammad Arifur Rahman, son of Md. Abdul Quddus and Rashida Khatun, is an assistant professor of Department of Pharmacy under FSIT of Daffodil International University. He passed both B. Pharm (Honours) and M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with First Class from faculty of Pharmacy of University of Dhaka.
