This work aims to understand how traditional marriage is constituted among customary practices in the essentials of civilization, reflecting mutual respect and honor within the Betsimisaraka ethnic group, in the District of Fénérive-Est, "Añalanjirôfo" Region, Madagascar. The story of the Betsimisaraka family, and the ritual ceremony of this type of marriage, demonstrates all the cultural, social and human respect aspects of this group. Advice and guidance for newlyweds is provided within the social and cultural rules pre-set for the future-green of the two lovers in their marital home. Analysis shows that traditional marriage is so valuable to human society and culture. The foundation of a society based on the union of a man and a woman, to found a family, and the framework of mutual respect are perceived through this practice, all in accordance with an art and savoir vivre. In addition to the aforementioned rites of separation, integration and passage, marriage is also a rite of foundation.
