Bible as basic of the Western civilization

The antique Mediterranean can be called a laboratory in which the state and social system of modern Europe and all Western world had appeared. At the same time, the priority of the spiritual basics taken from the Bible allows to state the idea that Europe had been the region which generated a special type of civilization where the attitude towards the person and his rights is inseparably linked with economic development and policy. The complexity of the Hellenistic culture caused by synthesis and conflict of its components had led to a lot of the innovations which had appeared during this era. However, the problems caused by the mixture of cultures were insuperable and led to death of the classical antiquity which passed the European mentality as inheritance to future generations. The origins and the reasons of the cross-culture collisions which had been manifested during an antiquity era, and also typical trends of development of cultures are good model for the analysis of modern cross-culture problems and for forecasting of possible options of their decision in the situation of collision of civilizations.
