On January 11, 2023, the US Congress setups {the Select Committee on Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)}, as China is now viewed as the sole challenger for the USA. It is a wise move to distinguish CCP from Chinese people. But most current events in China are the consequences of interactions of reflexive behaviors and of the exterior circumstances. Only when someone is facing an existential threat, one will react with her soul. That is, the analysis of the current events and their dynamics cannot get a correct national security strategy on the China issue.
