ACM Transactions on Information Systems is a Quarterly Information Technology Journal from ACM. It contains research papers with all aspects of fundamental research and applied research in information storage retrieval, database management, Hypermedia and Hypertext, Computer network, Artificial Engineering, software technology and Engineering, Linear and Integer programming and production management.It has published 25 volumes, but to determine the publication pattern, the number of contribution published during the last ten years (1997-2006).A collaborative research has been studied in this book.

Dr.S.Dhanavandan,M.A.,B.Ed.,M.L.I.S.,M.Phil.,Ph.D.,is presently working as Assistant Librarian in Gandhigram Rural Institute,Deemed University, Tamil Nadu.He has published more than 40 technical papers in peer reviewed journals & conferences (National and International) and also he has published three books in library and information science.
