Bimalleolar Fractures: A Retrospective Study
Details
Bimalleolar fractures are a type of ankle fracture, one of the commonest traumatic injuries globally. They are also found to be among the common traumatic injuries requiring hospitalization. With an observed rise in incidence across the world and the paucity of data available on the pathology in this area, ankle fractures require studies assessing the burden and management of the pathology in this region. This book brings forward the epidemiological characteristics and clinical patterns of bimalleolar fractures and bear out the short-term outcomes from 2009 to 2019 in Fako, South West Region, Cameroon.
