Bioceramic Cements

With the advancement of endodontic science with regard to new chemical formulations of endodontic cements, research is needed into the benefits of these products when compared to those that already exist and are well-established on the market. The objectives of this study were to analyze the specialized literature on the use of bioceramic cements in endodontics, determine their physical, chemical and biological properties and understand their effect on apical tissues and the possible benefits of their use in clinical practice.
