When making an adequate management around natural resources it is necessary to act contemplating an integral analysis of the different variables; environmental, social, economic, legal, cultural, political, among others, therefore, it is pertinent to include the bioethical variable as a new approach that determines parameters to act. In the formulation of plans, programs or projects of an environmental nature, bioethics is a relevant point to integrate into decisions, since it determines the point between good and bad practices in the conservation of natural resources. In the activities of hydroelectric production in Colombia, critical socio-environmental problems have occurred over the years, which have violated rights and have endangered the resilience of the numerous ecosystems that make up the Colombian territory; recognizing this aspect, a series of socio-environmental strategies are presented that link bioethical aspects when faced with a situation that requires adequate management to primarily reduce the problems that compromise the use of water in the country.
